Hyun-Seok Kim is a South Korean designer with a great interest and passion for contemporary and futuristic yacht design. His Voronoi yacht design bears its name after the Voronoi pattern – an algorithmic diagram by 19th century Russian math professor Georgy Voronoy. The pattern is a method of removing unnecessary blocks of of solid space, allowing to create very strong and robust structures. It is often used in engineering.
The irregular honeycomb-like lattice structure covers the upper levels, creating a unique atmosphere on board of this unusual mega-yacht. The 125-metre mega yacht “Voronoi” was created with nature in mind.
Superyacht VORONOI is spread across five decks. Her features include a swimming pool lined with ancient Greek-styled columns, a stunning sky-lounge, botanical garden as well as a small golfing course.
