New Zealand superyacht capabilities to shine at NZ Superyacht Day in San Francisco

The first day of the 34th America’s Cup, September 7, 2013, will be marked by the NZ Superyacht Day, an exclusive private charter event, showcasing five award-winning New Zealand superyacht companies. These companies will lead a private program, providing new insights on their individualized approaches to manufacturing as well as capabilities, together with current superyacht innovation and trends, to be introduced by world-renowned superyacht designer, Ed Dubois.

New Zealand superyacht builders are recognized globally for their craftsmanship, focus on engineering and aesthetic requirements, and customer-focused, individualized approach. During the New Zealand Superyacht Day some of the most influential members of the superyacht community will share their insights with invited guests while they enjoy on-the-water viewing of the first day of America’s Cup racing, and a traditional Kiwi-style BBQ and craft beer tasting.

Some of the most influential members of the superyacht community are participating in the New Zealand Superyacht Day, including Alloy Yachts, Events Clothing, Fitzroy Yachts, McMullen & Wing, and Southern Spars.

Alloy Yachts. With 28 years of experience, Alloy Yachts is synonymous with luxury, seaworthiness, engineering excellence and craftsmanship. Alloy’s passion for their craft is reflected in the award-winning standards and international recognition of their yachts. Earlier this year their motor yacht Loretta Anne motor yacht was awarded World Superyacht Awards’ Motor Yacht of the Year and Raised Pilothouse Semi-displacement Motor Yacht awards. Events Clothing. Based in Auckland, New Zealand, with a European office in Palma de Mallorca in Spain Events Clothing design, manufacture and supply innovative, quality uniforms for superyacht and race crews around the globe.
