This motor yacht DOUBLE HAVEN is a 51 metre 167 (ft) impressive steel ship which was completely constructed by The Feadship De Vries Shipyard and conceived from the design board of De Voogt Naval Architects and Richard Hein and Glade Johnson and Gerhard Gilgenast. The naval architecture office whom authored her design work on this ship was De Voogt Naval Architects and Richard Hein and Glade Johnson and Gerhard Gilgenast. In addition, the interior design is the work of Glade Johnson.
New Build & Yacht Design for Luxury Yacht DOUBLE HAVEN
De Voogt Naval Architects was the naval architect involved in the technical nautical design work for DOUBLE HAVEN. Her interior design was completed by Glade Johnson. De Voogt Naval Architects and Richard Hein and Glade Johnson and Gerhard Gilgenast is also associated with the yacht general design work for this boat. In 1993 she was actually launched with triumph in Aalsmeer and post sea trials and finishing touches was thereafter delivered to the owner. The Feadship De Vries Shipyard completed their new build motor yacht in the Netherlands. A spacious proportion is brought about with a total beam (width) of 9.3 metres or 30.5 ft. With a 3.2m (10.5ft) draught (maximum depth) she is fairly deep. The material steel was used in the building of the hull of the motor yacht. Her superstructure over the hull is built out of aluminium. In 2001 further refit work and modernisation was additionally finished.
