A General Description of Motor Yacht AD LIB
This motor yacht AD LIB is a 40 m 131 (foot) generous aluminium ship which was manufactured by Alloy Yachts and devised from the design board of Dubois Naval Architects. The naval architect that made the plans and general arrangement for this ship is Dubois Naval Architects. The interior design was the work of Donald Starkey Designs.
AD LIB is a has a dark blue and silver painted exterior which sets her apart, the yacht is sophisticated with an intricate design and classic interior. Her production commenced on January 2004, and was launched on 7th September, 2005. In the last 21 years Alloy yachts, who built M/Y AD LIB have received 16 International awards and is marked for its excellence and innovation.
The Shipyard Work & Yacht Design for Luxury Yacht AD LIB
Dubois Naval Architects was the naval architecture company involved in the formal vessel plans for AD LIB. Her interior design was completed by Donald Starkey Designs. Dubois Naval Architects is also associated with the yacht wider design collaboration for this boat. New Zealand is the country that Alloy Yachts completed their new build motor yacht in. After formal launch in 2006 in Auckland she was thereafter handed over to the owner following sea trials and testing. The main hull was built out of aluminium. The motor yacht main superstructure is made largely using aluminium. With a beam of 8.5 m or 27.7 ft AD LIB has fairly large size. A shallow draught of 1.9m (6.2ft) selects the list of marinas she can berth in, contingent on their minimum depth at low tide.
Max/Min Speed - Engine Room For M/Y AD LIB:
Fitted with twin CATERPILLAR diesel engines, AD LIB is able to reach a high speed of 16 knots. Her propulsion units are twin screw propellers. She also has an efficient range of 4000 miles whilst motoring at her cruising speed of 13 knots. With respect to the ship’s stabalisers she uses Naiad.
