The motor yacht ALMEA is a 30 metre 100 (ft) good sized wooden vessel which was developed at Chantier Naval Dantibes (Cna) and her design is by Henri Rambaud and Alpha Marine. Motor yacht ALMEA is a classic, custom made yacht. A refined example of a typical Eagle class, she is both fast and elegant. Built in 1970 she had a total refurbishment in 1993, where a modern satellite system and navigation equipment were added. She has an average speed of 20 knots. An elevated sun deck provides panoramic views and she features wide teak decks throughout. Eight guests are accommodated in four cabins. One large master stateroom and one twin stateroom amidships. A further twin cabin and an upperlower berth cabin forward. All cabins have en suite facilities. Crew in separate quarters that share the companionway to the forward cabins.

Henri Rambaud was the naval architect involved in the professional superyacht plans for ALMEA. Henri Rambaud and Alpha Marine is also associated with the yacht wider design collaboration for this boat. In 1970 she was actually launched to accolade in Antibes and following sea trials and finishing touches was thereafter passed on to the new owner. Chantier Naval Dantibes (Cna) completed their new build motor yacht in France. A reasonable feeling is achieved with a total beam (width) of 6.19 metres or 20.3 feet. With a 1.68m (5.5ft) draught (maximum depth) she is fairly shallow. The material wooden was used in the building of the hull of the motor yacht. Her superstructure over the hull is fashioned out of mahoganyandmarine ply. Over the deck of ALMEA she is 29.66 (97.3 ft) in length. In 2001 further refit work and modernisation was in addition performed.
