A General Description of Motor Yacht AMEVI

From the Oceanco Yachts (Alblasserdam Yachtbuilding) yard in the Netherlands the AMEVI is 80 metre 262 (ft) in length. Ready for launch in 2006 the comparatively recent internal styling illustrates the merit of Alberto Pinto / Nuvolari & Lenard. Superyacht AMEVI is able to accommodate up to 18 people with 27 crew members. She is a recent full displacement yacht. This fantastic motor yacht has a helicopter pad capability. She can reach a maximum speed of 20 knots.

Luxury super yacht AMEVI is owned by a steel titan who is Indian by birth and the UK's richest citizen. M/Y AMEVI (Project Y701) was followed up by the super yacht ALFA NERO (Project Y701). AMEVI won the 2007 ShowBoats best Full-Displacement Motor Yacht Over 56 Meters in length.

New Build & Naval Architecture for Luxury Yacht AMEVI

Oceanco was the naval architecture company involved in the formal superyacht design work for AMEVI. Also the company Oceanco and Nuvolari - Lenard skillfully collaborated on this venture. Interior designer Alberto Pinto / Nuvolari & Lenard was charged with the overall interior ambience. the Netherlands is the country that Oceanco Yachts (Alblasserdam Yachtbuilding) built their new build motor yacht in. After the official launch in 2006 in Alblasserdam the boat was delivered on to the happy owner after sea trials and testing. A beamy proportion is brought about with a widest beam (width) of 14.2 metres / 46.59 feet. The material steel was used in the building of the hull of the motor yacht. Her superstructure over the hull is fashioned from aluminium. In 2008 further refit work and modernisation was in addition performed.

The 16V 595 TE70 engine installed in the motor yacht is made by MTU. The main engine of the yacht gives 4680 horse power (or amevi kilowatts). She is equiped with 2 engines. The combined power for the yacht is therefore 9360 HP or 6980 KW. With respect to stabalisers she utilises Rolls-Royce Zero Speed Retractable.
