The New Build & Designing of Luxury Yacht ASTRA
The yacht's general design work came from Charles E Nicholson. The formal naval architect drawings are the work of Charles E Nicholson. In 1928 she was formally launched with celebration in Gosport and post sea trials and final completion was afterwards delivered to the owner who commissioned her. Camper & Nicholsons completed their new build sailing yacht in the United Kingdom. A moderate proportion is brought about with a widest beam (width) of 6.16 metres / 20.2 ft. With a 4.21m (13.8ft) draught (maximum depth) she is reasonably deep. The material steel framed wooden was used in the building of the hull of the sailing yacht.
