The Construction & Yacht Design of Luxury Yacht BRAVE CHALLENGER

Peter Du Cane was the naval architect firm involved in the formal nautical design work for BRAVE CHALLENGER. Her interior design was conceived by Prof Pinnau. Peter Du Cane is also associated with the yacht wider design collaboration for this boat. In 1960 she was actually launched to celebration in Portsmouth and following sea trials and final completion was thereafter passed on to the owner. Vosper Thornycroft completed their new build motor yacht in the United Kingdom. The core hull was constructed with wooden/aluminium frames. The motor yacht superstructure component is fabricated largely from aluminium. With a beam of 7.32 m or 24 feet BRAVE CHALLENGER has reasonable interior. A reasonably shallow draught of 2.23m (7.3ft) determines the amount of worldwide ports she can enter into, contingent on their minimum characteristics. She had refit maintenance and alteration work undertaken in 1989.
