A General Description of Motor Yacht COMMUNICATOR

The notable superyacht COMMUNICATOR is a motor yacht. This 57 metre (187 ft) luxury yacht was constructed at Abeking & Rasmussen Yachts (Schiffs-Und Yachtwerft ) in 1954. COMMUNICATOR used to be named 4901 Tananger; Charterer; Gardline Seeker. This balanced boat was brought about with naval architects Abeking & Rasmussen.

MV COMMUNICATOR was built by Aberking & Rasmusseb in Lemwarder. After work as a charter ship for general cargo, she was converted in 1976 and became the survey vessel Gardline Seeker. She was converted into a radio ship in Florida & renamed the Communicator.

The yacht's general design work came from Abeking & Rasmussen. The professional naval architecture plans are a creation of Abeking & Rasmussen. In 1954 she was actually launched to celebration in Lemwerder and following sea trials and detailing was then passed on to the owner. Abeking & Rasmussen Yachts (Schiffs-Und Yachtwerft ) completed their new build motor yacht in Germany. Her main hull was built out of steel. The motor yacht superstructure component is fabricated extensively from steel. With a width of 8.96 m or 29.4 feet COMMUNICATOR has fairly large internal space. She has a fairly deep draught of 3.17m (10.4ft).
