The Shipyard Work & Yacht Design with respect to Luxury Yacht DAYDREAM
Jack Hargrave was the naval architecture company involved in the formal superyacht design work for DAYDREAM. Jack Hargrave is also associated with the yacht wider design collaboration for this boat. In 1989 she was actually launched with triumph in Hong Kong and post sea trials and finishing touches was afterwards passed on to the yacht owner. Cheoy Lee Shipyards completed their new build motor yacht in Hong Kong. The core hull was crafted from composite. The motor yacht main superstructure is fabricated predominantly with composite. Installed with twin GM diesel engines, DAYDREAM is able to attain a top speed of 15 knots. For propulsion DAYDREAM has twin screw propellers. She also has an efficient range of 3000 miles whilst sailing at her cruising speed of 14 knots. Her total HP is 1350 HP and her total Kilowatts are 993. With respect to the ship’s stabalisers she uses Wilcox.
