This motor yacht DRENEC is a 36 metre 118 (foot) good sized steel boat which was produced by Haarlemse Scheepsbouw Maats and her design plans were devised by Haarlemse. A well sized converted private yacht DRENEC is a particularily distinctive Dutch made yacht which was launched to accolade in 1964. Sleeping 8 guests and 5 qualified crew, motor yacht DRENEC was registered as 584 Morillon; Albert Schweitzer; Caroline-C; Joshua; Olympic; Joshua. She could be described as a classic converted private yacht. The balanced superyacht was created by the naval architecture of Haarlemse.

Motor yacht DRENEC was rebuilt in 1981 and 1988. Her engine had a complete overhaul in October of 1995. M/Y DRENEC has a saltwater converter that was fitted in 1997 which enables it to make long voyages without refill of fresh water. She also has a lifting crane winches the dinghy and other heavy items. One mast with fitted sails to assist the stability during cruising. She was entirely refitted in 1997 and she can sleep up to 8 guests in an Owner’s stateroom with a double bed, wardrobes, and private bath and 3 double guest cabins each cabin has a private bath. Crew accommodations for six in three cabins. Motor yacht DRENEC has a large salon, finished in teak, with dining area separated by a built in sofa with coffee table and tow leather armchairs.

Haarlemse was the naval architect firm involved in the professional vessel composition for DRENEC. Haarlemse is also associated with the yacht wider design collaboration for this boat. the Netherlands is the country that Haarlemse Scheepsbouw Maats built their new build motor yacht in. After the formal launch in 1964 in Haarlem the boat was delivered on to the happy owner having completed sea trials. A moderate feeling is manifested with a maximum beam (width) of 7.1 m or 23.3 feet. With a 4.27m (14ft) draught (maximum depth) she is deep. The material steel was used in the building of the hull of the motor yacht. Her superstructure over the hull is built with the use of steel. In 2000 extra refitting and updating was also performed.
