A General Description of Motor Yacht EARLMAR
This motor yacht EARLMAR is a 34 metre 112 (foot) well proportioned wooden ship which was produced by Vancouver Shipyards and concieved by Admiralty. The gracious boat has been envisaged by the naval architecture of Admiralty.
New Build & Design for Luxury Yacht EARLMAR
Admiralty was the naval architect firm involved in the formal nautical composition for EARLMAR. Admiralty is also associated with the yacht general design work for this boat. In 1943 she was actually launched with celebration in Vancouver Bc and post sea trials and final completion was then passed on to the owner who commissioned her. Vancouver Shipyards completed their new build motor yacht in Canada. A moderate proportion is achieved with a total beam (width) of 5.49 m or 18 feet. With a 1.37m (4.5ft) draught (maximum depth) she is fairly shallow. The material wooden was used in the building of the hull of the motor yacht. Her superstructure above deck is built with the use of wood.
