Ugo Costaguta was the naval architect firm involved in the technical vessel composition for ESMERALDA. Her interior design was conceived by Giuseppe De Jorio. Ugo Costaguta and Giuseppe De Jorio is also associated with the yacht general design work for this yacht. Italy is the country that decasa Yachts completed their new build motor yacht in. After her formal launch in 1981 in Viareggio she was passed over to the proud new owner having completed final finishing. The hull was crafted from steel.
