Launched in 2019, AMO is a striking expedition yacht built by the renowned Italian shipyard Sanlorenzo. She is the second hull in the 500EXP E-Motion electric propulsion superyacht series by the yard. Her modern and head-turning exterior profile was created by Francesco Pazskowski. She measures 47m/154.2ft and provides accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 cabins, with a crew of 9 on board.

EXTERIOR

Guests arriving by tender can disembark onto the lower deck swim platform and ascend the port or starboard stairways to reach the main deck aft.

The main deck aft provides a spacious area for the storage of large water toys and along the stern there is a helipad for convenient arrivals and departures whilst cruising in such remote destinations as the South Pacific islands. A set of steps descends to the alfresco lounge, where there is an elongated forward-facing sofa and room for an alfresco dining table.

The upper deck aft is a tranquil outdoor lounge consisting of sofa/sunbeds, armchairs and drinks tables that overlook the helipad on the main deck below. The foredeck offers another space for guests to rest in comfort, with another sunbathing possibility and outdoor relaxation. The foredeck is also used for storing larger tenders and motorised water toys such as jet skis, which are safely launched and retrieved using the Davit cranes on board.

For the best views on board, the sundeck offers guests an elevated position to take in local events or keep an eye out for whales and dolphins. The central area is shaded for alfresco dining and lounging, day or night.

INTERIOR

The interiors show contemporary styling using high quality wood that matches in the wall panelling and furniture. Ivory fabrics are used in the upholstery to give a clean appearance and emphasise the space in an already broad environment.

The main salon places the formal dining area to serve 10 forward with a port-side sofa, two stools and a coffee table in the central space and a pop-up TV hidden in the cabinetry along the opposite wall. The aft lounge is dedicated to social gatherings and relaxation, and comes fitted with a sofa and two armchairs around a coffee table.
Glass sliding doors on both sides of the aft lounge provide a way out onto the exterior deck or a more alfresco indoor experience. Broad windows flood the room with natural light and ensure that guests within never miss a single spectacular landscape.

On the upper deck there is a second salon with an inviting and intimate atmosphere: A C-shaped sofa looks out onto the upper deck aft through the glass sliding doors, and large windows, including some floor-to-ceiling panels, connect guests to the location. A widescreen TV is placed in the starboard aft corner and offers an alternative TV room to the main salon. A paler colour scheme enhances the interior volume and LED lighting along the floor and ceiling creates plenty of ambience after sundown.

Twin CAT C32 engines provide a top speed of 15 knots and a cruising speed of 11 knots. 

Yacht Accommodation

The accommodation sleeps a maximum of 10 guests over 5 en-suite cabins: 1 Master suite and 4 further guest cabins. The crew of 9 will provide professional service throughout every cruise.
