Luxury expedition yacht MASQUENADA (ex Aspire, Etra), measuring 51.0m (167'4") was built by the Chinese shipyard Penglai and launched in 2007, with naval architecture and exterior design by Blue Fin Yachts. In 2019 she underwent an extensive refit, offering modern yet luxurious accommodation for up to 12 guests in 6 cabins. She has a crew of 9.

EXTERIOR

The lower deck swim platform becomes a beach club with a sun lounger to both sides creating a space to rest beside the water. On the main deck, there is an abundance of space for hosting large tenders and motorised water toys. A Davit crane provides quick and safe launch and retrieval.

On the upper deck aft, there is a large alfresco dining area in the shade to serve up to 12. Along the stern, two sofas, armchairs and coffee tables create a symmetrical setting where the group can converse in the sunshine and take in the spectacular views.

The bridge deck aft also uses a mirror layout for the alfresco lounge, with two corner sofas, an armchair and a coffee table.

A final alfresco guest space can be found on the sundeck, where a forward Jacuzzi and sunpads take in panoramic views of the destination. Sun loungers are placed aft to port with a seating area to starboard of the communications mast.

INTERIOR

Inside, classic styling and traditional wood panelling are combined with fabrics offering a fresh burst of colour with cream accents.
The lower deck layout places the engine room to the aft with the two twin cabins in front. Forward, there is the crew mess, amenities and crew cabins.

On the main deck, the forward section hosts the double cabins side-by-side and a twin cabin behind to starboard. Behind there is the galley and main foyer staircase with the formal dining area and lounge to the aft. The dining table seats up to 12 guests in timeless surroundings, while the intimate lounge creates an ambient environment using a curving sofa and aft-facing sofa, armchairs and a pair of coffee tables, where guests can unwind in style after exploring warm waters or cold climates.

The upper deck hosts the Master suite forward with a salon behind that can be shared with other guests or put to private use. The salon has a symmetrical layout with both walls fitted with an L-shaped sofa, a nest of tables, coffee tables and stools. A widescreen TV is placed on the forward wall with glass doors out onto the upper deck aft to port and starboard.

On the bridge deck, there is a sofa within the forward bridge where guests can sit and watch the action or use the area as an additional quiet lounge. The Captain's cabin is behind with access to the bridge deck aft and sundeck from the foyer.

Twin Caterpillar 3508b 1050 HP engines produce a top speed of 18 knots and a cruising speed of 11.5 knots.

Yacht Charter Accommodation

The accommodation sleeps a maximum of 12 guests across 6 en-suite cabins: 1 Master suite, 2 double cabins and 3 twin cabins. ~ The Master suite is located on the upper deck and is furnished with a king-sized bed with a widescreen TV opposite, a desk to port and a sofa beneath the starboard window. The Owner's suite also has a private office, walk-in-wardrobe and an en-suite bathroom boasting a sink, toilet, bidet, and an enclosed bathtub/shower. ~ Both double cabins are placed on the main deck and each has a plush armchair and a desk opposite, as well as a widescreen TV. The en-suite bathrooms have a toilet, bidet, sink and shower. ~ The first of three twin cabins is placed on the main deck, with the remaining two on the lower deck. Each has a sofa, widescreen TV and desk as well as an en-suite bathroom with a toilet, bidet, sink and shower.
