Farr Yacht Design was the naval architect involved in the formal nautical plans for FADO. Her interior design was conceived by Nauta Yachts. After the official launch in 2007 in Cape Town she was then passed over to the proud new owner after sea trials and testing. Her main hull was built out of composite.
