The Shipyard Work & Design for Luxury Yacht GEORGIA
Studio Scanu was the naval architecture company involved in the technical superyacht plans for GEORGIA. Also the company Studio Scanu and Butch Dalrymple-Smith and Glade Johnson expertly worked on this project. Interior designer Glade Johnson was commissioned for the creative internal styling. New Zealand is the country that Alloy Yachts completed their new build sailing yacht in. After her official launch in 2000 in Auckland she was afterwards delivered on to the proud new owner following sea trials. A fairly large proportion is manifested with a widest beam (width) of 10.09 metres / 33.1 feet. With a 7.32m (24ft) draught (maximum depth) she is 7.32 (24 ft). The material aluminium was used in the building of the hull of the sailing yacht. Her superstructure over the hull is fashioned from aluminium. In 2008 further refitting and modernisation was in addition finished.
