A General Description of Motor Yacht GIANT I

This motor yacht GIANT I is a 75 metre 247 (foot) significant steel superyacht which was fashioned by Ihc Verschure Bv and devised by Ihc and Me Consulting. The impressive explorer style (expedition) yacht GIANT I is a very well designed Dutch built superyacht which was launched to celebration in 1974. Sleeping 24 passengers and 30 qualified crew, motor yacht GIANT I was previously called Dimant; Gigant. The naval architecture office responsible for the plans and general arrangement in respect of the yacht is Ihc and Me Consulting. The interior designing is the work of John Misiag Interior Design. She could be described as a older explorer style (expedition) yacht.

GIANT I has undergone and extraordinary refit which has seen her converted from an ordinary working tug into a luxurious expedition yacht filled with quality fittings and luxurious decor which make her a true superyacht. With superb seagoing qualities and icebreaking capabilities, there’s virtually nowhere this exceptional superyacht cannot go. The Building & Design for Luxury Yacht GIANT I

Ihc was the naval architecture company involved in the formal nautical composition for GIANT I. Her interior design was completed by John Misiag Interior Design. Ihc and Me Consulting is also associated with the yacht wider design collaboration for this yacht. In 1974 she was actually launched to accolade in Amsterdam and following sea trials and detailing was thereafter passed on to the owner who commissioned her. Ihc Verschure Bv completed their new build motor yacht in the Netherlands. A open proportion is achieved with a maximum beam (width) of 13.5 metres / 44.3 feet. With a 6.4m (21ft) draught (maximum depth) she is reasonably 6.4 (21 ft). The material steel was used in the building of the hull of the motor yacht. Her superstructure above deck is fashioned from steel. In 2007 further refit work and updating was additionally performed.
