A General Description of Motor Yacht GOLDEN RULE

This motor yacht GOLDEN RULE is a 39 m 127 (ft) well proportioned steel boat which was manufactured by The Feadship Royal Van Lent Shipyard and her design is by De Voogt Naval Architects. Accommodating 10 passengers and 8 qualified crew, motor yacht GOLDEN RULE was named Excellence. This graceful boat has been envisaged by the naval architecture of De Voogt Naval Architects. Glade Johnson undertook the interior design and styling.

The New Build & Yacht Design relating to Luxury Yacht GOLDEN RULE

De Voogt Naval Architects was the naval architect firm involved in the formal superyacht plans for GOLDEN RULE. Her interior design was conceived by Glade Johnson. De Voogt Naval Architects is also associated with the yacht wider design collaboration for this boat. In 1986 she was actually launched to celebration in Kaag and following sea trials and final completion was then passed on to the new owner. The Feadship Royal Van Lent Shipyard completed their new build motor yacht in the Netherlands. Her core hull was crafted from steel. The motor yacht main superstructure is fabricated extensively from aluminium. With a width of 8.14 m or 26.7 ft GOLDEN RULE has spacious size. A reasonably shallow draught of 2.35m (7.7ft) determines the list of certain harbours she can berth in, contingent on their particular characteristics. She had refit maintenance and modification carried out in 2006.

M/Y GOLDEN RULE Engineering & Performance:

Installed with twin GM diesel main engines, GOLDEN RULE is able to attain a high speed of 14 knots. She is driven by twin screw propellers. She also has an efficient range of 3400 miles whilst underway at her cruise speed of 12 knots. Her total HP is 1290 HP and her total Kilowatts are 949. With respect to the ship’s stabalisers she utilises Vosper.
