Superyacht HAWK RANGER 68 is a striking expedition vessel capable of exploring the world’s more remote locations. She is built by Hawk Yachts with a delivery date in 2022. Measuring 67.97 m (222’99’’), the yacht features naval architecture and engineering by Laurent Giles, while accommodating up to 14 guests in 7 cabins, as well as a professional and highly trained crew of 17.

EXTERIOR

The lower deck swim platform connects to the main deck aft via two stairways, and this upper level has a swimming pool that can be emptied and the bottom made flush with the rest as the deck for additional sunbathing space or for use as a helipad. Sun loungers are placed on the forward side of the helipad, and beneath the upper deck overhang a long bar seats multiple guests.

The upper deck aft is accessed via a stairway to starboard, and the deck comes furnished with a Jacuzzi along the stern with a C-shaped sofa on both sides and an aft-facing L-shaped sofa to provide plenty of seating while holding a dockside event. Another starboard staircase connects up to the bridge deck aft, while the foredeck has room for a sun lounger to port and starboard as a private sunbathing space and outdoor terrace for the Master suite.

The bridge deck aft is used as the main alfresco dining area, where guests can enjoy stunning views of the surroundings as they dine around the large table.

INTERIOR

The tank deck is used for extensive food and fuel storage and also hosts the crew gym
and mess. The crew accommodation is placed on the lower deck forward with the galley forward of amidships to port. Opposite, guests have access to a large gym that has a massage room attached. The engine room is amidships and a corridor leads through the centre to the tender garages to port and starboard aft of amidships. The stern section hosts a dive centre and research station/beach club for remote exploration.

On the main deck the guest accommodation is situated forward, followed by a galley and day head to port and the main foyer and reception room to starboard. Aft, the formal dining area and main salon combine to form on large space, with a divider available for more intimate meals between the 12 guests around the large oval table. The aft salon consists of three sofas creating a C-shaped setting facing aft. These are joined by a coffee table and two armchairs for intimate conversations benefiting from large windows for exceptional views.

The Master suite is situated forward on the upper deck. The foyer is amidships and to the aft a spacious skylounge with a wet bar in the forward port corner and a sofa to starboard. The glass sliding doors fold back on both sides of the room to create a more alfresco living experience. A grand piano is placed in the aft to port corner, and in the centre of the room three sofas are arranged around a large coffee table.

The bridge deck offers one final lounge aft of the pilothouse, which boasts 180° aft views for guests resting on the two sofas either side of the coffee table.

Yacht Accommodation

The accommodation sleeps up to 14 guests over 7 en-suite cabins: 1 Master suite, 2 VIP staterooms, 3 double cabins and 1 twin cabin. The Spacious Master suite is placed on the upper deck forward to benefit from the views, with the king-sized bed forward with access to the foredeck sunbathing area. Behind the bed on both sides of the room is a walk-in wardrobe and an en-suite bathroom. The port side has a sink, toilet, bidet and bathtub, and the starboard side has the same but with a shower instead of a bathtub. Aft to port of the bathrooms is a private gym and lounge, and to starboard an office. The VIP staterooms on the main deck forward are placed to port and starboard, and both have queen-sized beds, a lounge area consisting of two armchairs and a coffee table, a walk-in wardrobe and an en-suite bathroom providing a sink, toilet, bidet and a shower. The three double cabins are placed behind the VIP staterooms to starboard and amidships to port and starboard. All have a double bed, a desk, armchair, a walk-in wardrobe and an en-suite bathroom with a sink, toilet and a shower. The twin cabin to port behind the VIP stateroom has twin beds and the same amenities as the double cabins.
