Heesen 4000 series is a new addition of semi-custom semi-displacement yachts, measuring 40 metres in length by Heesen in collaboration with the Yachts Design Team and Omega Architects.

The launch of the Heesen 4000 Series makes Heesen the first yard to offer the market a series of fast luxurious yachts in this size range.

The yacht can be customized exclusively, depending on the owner's preferences, this way the yard remains true to it's motto "passion, performance and perfection". This is also thanks to the vessel being three metres longer than the 3700 series, which promises a superior onboard comfort to the owner and the guests, every bit as good as that offered by the 4400 series.

Heesen 4000 series shows also some project details where a considerable amount of space has been further increased using some intelligent technical solutions such as, the use of seawater cooling units in the engine room made it possible to reduce the size of the ventilation trunk in the salon.

Also the main deck galley is larger than one would expect of a yacht of this length. The interiors of this 4000 series are not only more spacious, but also more flexible than those of the 3700 series. They offer a range of options, with several different layouts for the accommodation areas.

There are three solutions proposed for the guest cabins in the lower deck. These include and arrangement of six people in three cabins or other two options with eight guests in four cabins. The cabins can be fitted with a walk-in wardrobe or the owner can choose to maximize the cabin space.

The new 4000 series comes with two different engine options. One solution is based on twin sixteen-cylinder MTU V4000 M90 diesel engines, each delivering 2720 kW, for a maximum speed of approx. 30 knots. The other solution is also based on twin sixteen-cylinder MTU V4000 engines, but this time of the M93L type, each of which can deliver more than 3400 kW, allowing top speeds of around 33 knots.
