The Shipyard Work & Designing of Luxury Yacht IMAN
Tom Fexas was the naval architect firm involved in the technical superyacht composition for IMAN. Her interior design was realised by Claudio Zampetti. Tom Fexas and Carlo Coluccia is also associated with the yacht wider design collaboration for this yacht. In 1993 she was actually launched with triumph in Augusta, Sicily and post sea trials and finishing touches was afterwards passed on to the owner who commissioned her. Dragomar Yard completed their new build motor yacht in Italy. Her hull was built out of steel. The motor yacht main superstructure is made extensively from aluminium. With a beam of 8.81 m or 28.9 ft IMAN has fairly large room. A fairly shallow draught of 2.32m (7.6ft) selects the amount of overall harbours she can visit, depending on their minimum depth at low tide.

Installed with twin DEUTZ-MWM diesel engines, IMAN will attain a maximum speed of 23 knots. For propulsion IMAN has twin screw propellers (ulstein). She also has an efficient range of 4000 nautical miles whilst sailing at her cruising speed of 19 knots. Her total HP is 5200 HP and her total Kilowatts are 3826. Concerning bow thrusters she utilises Hydromarine. With respect to the ship’s stabalisers she was built with Vosper.
