This motor yacht INDEPENDIA is a superyacht of spacious proportions. This 50 metre (162 ft) luxury yacht was proudly created at Abeking & Rasmussen Yachts (Schiffs-Und Yachtwerft ) in 1958. INDEPENDIA was previously called the project or yacht name 5242 Algol. The naval architect that made her drawings with respect to this ship was Ddr Navy.

The Independia (ex Algol) is a 50 meter former German Navy converted mine sweeper.

The Build & Naval Architecture of Luxury Yacht INDEPENDIA

The yacht's wider design collaboration came from Ddr Navy. The formal naval architect firm plans are a products of Ddr Navy. Germany is the country that Abeking & Rasmussen Yachts (Schiffs-Und Yachtwerft ) completed their new build motor yacht in. After her official launch in 1958 in Lemwerder she was then delivered on to the yacht owner after sea trials and testing. The main hull was constructed with wooden. The motor yacht main superstructure is fabricated extensively using wood. With a width of 7.19 m / 23.6 feet INDEPENDIA has reasonable internal space. She has a reasonably shallow draught of 2.5m (8.2ft). She had refit improvement and alteration work completed by 1999.
