This motor yacht INDIAN EMPRESS is a 95 metre 312 (ft) important steel ship which was built at Oceanco Yachts (Alblasserdam Yachtbuilding) and her design is by Oceanco. A important full displacement yacht INDIAN EMPRESS is a very high quality Dutch built yacht which was launched to accolade in 2000. Sleeping 32 passengers and 42 crew, motor yacht INDIAN EMPRESS used to be Al Mirqab. She is a modern full displacement yacht. This gracious superyacht has been brought about with a naval architect called Oceanco. Richard Hein / The A Group produced the interior design.
The massive superyacht Indian Empress is owned by Indian business baron Vijay Mallya of Kingfisher Airlines. She was previously owned by a Qatari Royal Family member. Mallya also owns Indian Princess, a 55m (181 ft) motor yacht built by Sterling Yacht and Shipbuilders in 1986 in Japan. The yacht has hosted many famous celebrities at the Monaco Grand Prix.
The Build & Designing for Luxury Yacht INDIAN EMPRESS
Oceanco was the naval architect involved in the technical vessel design work for INDIAN EMPRESS. Her interior design was conceived by Richard Hein / The A Group. Oceanco is also associated with the yacht wider design collaboration for this boat. the Netherlands is the country that Oceanco Yachts (Alblasserdam Yachtbuilding) completed their new build motor yacht in. After her official launch in 2000 in Alblasserdam the boat was released to the owner following sea trials and testing. A open proportion is manifested with a widest beam (width) of 15.18 m / 49.8 ft. With a 4.3m (14.1ft) draught (maximum depth) she is fairly deep. The material steel was used in the building of the hull of the motor yacht. Her superstructure above deck is created with the use of aluminium. In 2009 extra refit work and updating was also performed.
