QUEEN MAVIA by Oceanco
If you have any questions about the QUEEN MAVIA information page below please contact us.
Luxury Crewed Motor Yacht QUEEN MAVIA (ex LADY CHRISTINE) was launched by the famous OceAnco shipyard in 2001. With works and refits from 2005 to 2007, the vessel is equipped with all of the latest technology including zero speed stabilisers and WIFI.
QUEEN MAVIA's layout was initially designed by Oceanco's in-house studio, the "A" Group, with detailing executed by Gerard P Villate of Gerard Interiors, Monaco. The interior is finished to an exceptional standard with traditional raised-and-fielded panelling in Cuban mahogany, outlined in burr elm. In several compartments there are tables by Alain Lejeunne of Cannes, using a variety of precious woods for marquetry and banding, while additional freestanding furniture is by Baker, Knapp & Tubbs of the USA and English furniture makers, Arthur Brett & sons.

On the main deck, the formal dining is separated from the salon in a room which enjoys superb panoramic views through a semicircle of windows.
Another on of QUEEN MAVIA's impressive features is the "Key West Lounge". This is a circular structure set upon the top deck with huge glazed areas looking both forward and aft. It offers fantastic views and yet another dining area. Forward of this on the same deck is the "Key West sun deck". This area is wonderful and provides a bar and grill, plus open air and shaded seating.
Yacht Accommodation
QUEEN MAVIA offers luxurious accommodation for 10 guests. All staterooms are comfortably spacious, with separate ensuite bathrooms and individual entertainment centres. The owners suite is located on the aft upper deck. This was a crucial part of the yachts design and allows the greatest volume across the full length of the beam. This area is also closest to the yachts roll and pitch centres therefore movement as sea is minimised. This opulent master stateroom enjoys wonderful views through full length windows. It is finished in fine, rich furnishings and has a king sized bed, a large lounge area with coffee table, a spacious study, a master ensuite bathroom and its own private deck. Of the other four guest staterooms, two of these are convertible therefore can be configured either as doubles or as twins for your convenience. The final two staterooms are twins. These staterooms are finished in tasteful simple light colours against rich dark wood.

"A shipyard sells a yacht and after the warranty period has concluded, often the client and yacht are forgotten. If you look at Oceanco, we see the client as a client for a lifetime. We take care of all of them, even if he has a 25 year old Oceanco." - Dr Mohammed Al Barwani, Oceanco Chairman, a world-class builder of custom superyachts in the 80–140 meters range: "We pride ourselves in integrating fine old world dutch craftmanship with sophisticated new world know-how and TOMORROW’S TECHNOLOGY. To our craftsmen, PERFECTION is a point of principle. We encourage a philosophy whereby each individual feels personally responsible for the quality of the entire yacht."
