She was officially launched in Oss in 1987 before being transferred to the owner. Her main hull was constructed with aluminium. The motor yacht superstructure is fabricated predominantly from aluminium. With a beam of 6.4 m / 21 ft LADY J has moderate internal space. She has a fairly shallow draught of 2.32m (7.6ft). She had refit improvement and alteration work completed by 1998.
