Built under the project name LE120, mega yacht RISING SUN belongs to the fleet of the world's largest yachts, thanks to her impressive length of 138 metres (452'76''). She was constructed by the renowned German shipyard Lurssen and launched in 2004. Super Yacht RISING SUN was builder with steel hull and aluminium superstructure to naval architecture by Lurssen Yachts, exterior design by Bannenberg & Rowell Design and interior by Seccombe Design. She has received a refit in 2007.
Luxury yacht RISING SUN offers ultra deluxe accommodation to her lucky guests with en suite bathroom facilities, luxurious amenities and is said to have Jacuzzi spas in her staterooms. Guests have a fully-equipped gymnasium, spa and a sauna at their disposal, as well as a private cinema with a giant plasma screen for relaxation.

RISING SUN has an extensive wine cellar with a selection of some of the best wines around. There is also a basketball court on the main deck, which can be converted into a helicopter pad depending on the necessities of the owner and guests.
RISING SUN yacht is fitted with four MTU diesel engines, model 20V 8000 M90, of 12,070hp (9,0001KW) each, powering her up to a maximum speed of 28 knots and allowing her to cruise at 26 knots.
