De Voogt Naval Architects was the naval architect firm involved in the professional nautical design work for MARION QUEEN. Her interior design was completed by Robert Knack. De Voogt Naval Architects is also associated with the yacht general design work for this boat. Built by The Feadship Royal Van Lent Shipyard the vessel was built in the country of the Netherlands. She was officially launched in Kaag in 1990 before being delivered to the owner. The main hull was constructed with steel. The motor yacht superstructure is fabricated for the most part using aluminium. With a width of 8.17 metres or 26.8 feet MARION QUEEN has fairly large size. A reasonably shallow draught of 2.65m (8.7ft) affects the number of overall ports she can berth in, taking into account their particular depth at low tide. She had refit improvement and changes undertaken in 2007.
