A General Description of Motor Yacht MY CHELLE

This motor yacht MY CHELLE is a 37 metre 121 (ft) good sized composite boat which was completely constructed by Sovereign Yachts (Canada) and devised by Jack Sarin. Accommodating 11 guests and 4 crew members, motor yacht MY CHELLE is ex 2; Sovereign Lady. The naval architecture office who actualised the design work for the yacht was Jack Sarin. Moreover, her interior styling was created by Pacific Custom Interiors - Peter & Sheryl Guyon.

Launched in August 1999, Motor yacht MY CHELLE was built by by Sovereign yachts on a Westport hull with a raised pilothouse cockpit. MY CHELLE has accommodation for eleven guests in five staterooms plus crew. Recognized industry leaders contributed proven designs, such as the Jack Sarin design, and the tough Westport built Hull. Meticulous efforts were employed in the design and construction, with no expense spared in obtaining the finest materials and craftsmanship available.

Jack Sarin was the naval architect firm involved in the professional vessel design work for MY CHELLE. Her interior design was completed by Pacific Custom Interiors - Peter & Sheryl Guyon. Jack Sarin is also associated with the yacht wider design collaboration for this yacht. In 1999 she was formally launched to celebration in Richmond Bc and following sea trials and final completion was then handed over to the new owner. Sovereign Yachts (Canada) completed their new build motor yacht in Canada. The hull was built out of composite. The motor yacht superstructure is made extensively with composite. With a width of 7.62 m / 25 feet MY CHELLE has moderate internal space. She has a reasonably shallow draught of 1.68m (5.5ft). She had refit improvement and modification undertaken in 2008.

Installed with twin MTU diesel main engines, MY CHELLE can attain a top speed of 22 knots. MY CHELLE is propelled by twin screw propellers. She also has an efficient range of 3500 nautical miles when underway at her cruise speed of 18 knots. Her total HP is 3600 HP and her total Kilowatts are 2650. With respect to thrusters she uses Abt. As for the yacht’s stabalisers she utilises Naiad.
