HIATUS (ex Lady D, Lady Genyr) is a 30m motor yacht from Brazilian shipyard MCP, who also handled the interior and exterior design. She was built in 2008 and has undergone several upgrades since, including new electronics package in 2015, a new full paint job in 2016, and new generators in 2020. She features an elegant flybridge skylounge, complete with 12 person jacuzzi. She can reach a top speed of 23 knots and cruises at 18 knots. Accommodation is for 10 guests over 5 cabins, including a luxurious main deck Master cabin. Her dedicated crew of 5 will ensure guests have an excellent stay while on board.

EXTERIOR

The upper deck aft boasts a 6 person jacuzzi, which is in an ideal position for having a soak while soaking up the sights. To either side of the tub there is storage for two wave runners. Forward of this space is an area that can be set up for informal dining, or cleared away to enjoy outdoor activities such as morning yoga.

Above on the flybridge is a great area for entertaining. There is a large oval dining table surrounded by semi circle seating, in a perfect formation for socialising and enjoying al fresco meals. There is also a bar and barbecue on hand to provide convenient refreshments and delicious food straight from the grill. The retractable hardtop provides shelter, and the elevated position ensures incredible views.

On the main deck is a large sun beds area, large enough to accommodate a family unit or friend group with ease. This is the perfect place to dry off after a dip, or to relax with a good book. The foredeck also features built-in sun beds.

INTERIOR

Inside on the upper deck is where the fun happens, in the sophisticatedly decorated Sky Lounge. This area features a large, “L” shaped couch, as well as games table, large wall-mounted TV and entertainment centre. A convenient dayhead resides aft to port, with the bridge placed forward and separate. Panoramic windows ensure the lounge is drenched with sunlight day-round.

Below on the main deck is the formal living and dining area. This spacious, open plan area is the social hub of the vessel. Aft is a sumptuous living area, with comfy couches and a coffee table for resting drinks. Forward on the starboard side is a square glass dining table, and opposite to port is a convenient, compact galley. This area is perfect for casual gathering while making a coffee or enjoying a light meal.

Forward is the main deck Master cabin, with the remaining accommodation below on the lower deck.

Her twin Caterpillar C32 engines allow for a top speed of 23 knots and a cruising speed of 18 knots. The yacht has also recently been updated with new electronics include two Furuno radars, Garmin GPS, Maretron Ship’s monitor system, and Apple/Sonos stereo sound system throughout the vessel.

Yacht Accommodation

The accommodation sleeps up to 10 guests over 5 en-suite cabins: 1 Master suite, 2 VIP staterooms, and 2 twin rooms both with an optional Pullman berths, bringing the maximum capacity to 12. The beautiful king-sized Master cabin resides forward on the upper deck. This luxurious suite features his and hers ensuites, each complete with marble countertops and flooring, shower, toilet and bidet. The suite is also ideal for movie nights, with a 48” 3D HD TV, and Bose surround sound speakers & Apple/Sonos system. On the lower deck are the remaining VIP and twin cabins. The VIP cabins both feature queen beds, comfortable armchairs, plenty of storage, 20” TVs and ensuite bathrooms. The twin cabins similarly have plenty of storage, 16” TVs and ensuites. These cabins both also have optional Pullman berths, allowing for a variety of family and friend group sizes. The professional crew of 5 will ensure that every detail is taken care of throughout the cruise.
