Luxury yacht LADY CHARLOTTE (ex.LADY INDIA, KATRION) is a 41.55m/136ft Feadship vessel constructed in 2003 with a comprehensive refit in 2020. The classic exterior styling and naval architecture from Azure Yacht Design & Naval Architecture and De Voogt respectively conceal cutting edge technology within designed for effortless navigation, engineering and convenience. The gorgeous interiors come from the critical eyes of Michael McQuiston Interior Design & Decoration in collaboration with Art Line, and accommodate up to eight guests in four spacious en-suite cabins, with a crew of seven to take care of every detail.

EXTERIOR

From the lower deck swim platform guests have access to the main deck aft via two sweeping stairways. Here, a sofa is placed along the stern and the central area shaded by the upper deck overhang is furnished with a rectangular alfresco dining table and eight chairs. An additional sofa is placed within the forward corners.

Access to the upper deck is granted by accessing the forward stairways at the end, and in front of the helm station a central stairway leads down to semi-circular sofas and drinks tables for drinks at sunset with ambiance after dark provided by concealed floor lighting. The upper deck aft has a second alfresco dining option in the circular table with eight chairs, and in both stern corners a circular sofa/day bed lets guests rest in comfort after a large lunch.

The sundeck is accessed by a port stairway from the upper deck aft, and this secluded environment treats guests to sofas along the stern and a casual dining environment provided by a wet bar and barbeque concealed in the port side cabinetry. Forward of the communications mast is a sofa and helm controls, and aft of the mast is a large Jacuzzi where guests can savour the sunshine and the fresh air in peace.

INTERIOR

The gorgeous interiors have been refitted in 2020 and make use of a variety of woods to create a homely environment. Dusky blue carpets and accents throughout bring a cool tone to the earthy interiors, with classic light fixtures adding to the sophistication.

The accommodation is placed on the lower deck, with the crew cabins and crew mess forward, the engine room amidships and the guest accommodation aft. There is room in the stern for a beach club.

On the main deck, the Master suite is forward, behind which is the galley and pantry to port and the main foyer to starboard. The aft interior provides guests with an elegant formal dining area to seat all eight guests, and this is combined with the salon to create one large open space. A curving sofa and a coffee table are placed under the port windows with a desk in the port corner, and the starboard side has two armchairs and a side table, and a staircase in the corner leading down to the lower deck guest accommodation.

A large and inviting sofa is placed in the upper deck wheelhouse as a serene place to unwind with plenty of light while at anchor. The Captain's cabin is immediately behind, and the sky lounge provides a cosy environment with a forward bar to seat four, a widescreen TV, and day beds beneath the port and starboard windows.

A pair of Caterpillar 3412E DITA engines produce a top speed of 13.5 knots, a cruising speed of 12 knots and a range of 3,000 nautical miles, drawing on a fuel capacity of 45,400 litres.

Yacht Accommodation

The accommodation sleeps up to 8 guests over 4 en-site cabins: 1 Master suite, 1 VIP stateroom and 2 twin cabins. ~ The Master suite is placed on the main deck forward and has a king-sized bed, a desk/vanity to port and a walk-in-wardrobe forward to port. The starboard side of the room has two armchairs and a side table next to the windows, and the office behind which also creates greater privacy between the bedroom and the main foyer. A widescreen TV is placed on the wall forward of the bed, and the forward en-suite bathroom provides two sinks, a toilet and a bathtub. ~ The rest of the guest accommodation is placed on the lower deck and the VIP stateroom is placed in the aft to make use of the full beam. Within, there is a queen-sized bed and a desk and widescreen TV on the wall opposite, an armchair to port and a walk-in-wardrobe and en-suite bathroom to starboard providing a sink, toilet and shower. ~ The two twin cabins are placed to port and starboard forward of the VIP stateroom. Both have twin beds, a desk and TV entertainment, a walk-in-wardrobe and an en-site bathroom providing a sink, toilet and a shower. ~ The professional crew of 7 will provide everything guests require throughout their time on board.
