Superyacht SAN is a 45m (148ft) Alia Yacht from Turkey with naval architecture by Lateral Naval Architects and exterior styling by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design. Her streamlined exterior and low profile give the yacht a coupe-style appearance and she has cool paintwork contrasting with the rich teak decking. She can accommodate up to ten guests in five deluxe staterooms and additional cabins for seven crew.

EXTERIOR
Defined by her low profile and cool paintwork, SAN boasts extraordinary exterior spaces exemplified by the vast, terraced stern area. The upper level includes flexible built in furniture such as sun pads and a dining setting which is sheltered under the overhang. Cathedral steps lead down to the next two levels, one with sun pads and the other at the water’s edge. Additional features include fold-out bulwarks which further extend the space and cool LED lights illuminating the steps at night.

The sun deck is set up with a sociable u-shaped lounge setting with multi-functional furnishings for sunbathing, al fresco dining and drinks parties. On the foredeck is another large sun pad and accompanying table, which can also be lowered and covered with fill-in cushions to further increase the lounging space.

The engine room houses four Volvo Penta engines of 700hp each for a top speed of 23 knots and a cruising speed of 18 knots.

INTERIOR
The light and airy spaces are decorated with a simple and minimalist design language featuring teak, stained oak, eucalyptus and tan leather. Despite the minimalist design the overall ambiance is welcoming and understated and there is a superb connection with the surroundings from the floor-to-ceiling windows with narrow mullions. The space has been cleverly arranged with a sunken Japanese, style seating area and spacious dining setting.

The guest suites on the lower deck, which is accessed via a spiral staircase behind the bar in the main saloon. The staircase opens onto a lobby with a day head and a small pantry accessible from the crew staircase where guests can help themselves to hot and cold drinks.

Yacht Accommodation

There are five staterooms including a master suite with walk-in-wardrobe and ensuite bathroom, bed flanked by cushioned bench seating and long windows of compound-curved glass adding plenty of natural light. There are four guest suites, each discreetly personalised in different shades. One cabin has twin beds that can also be seamlessly joined together to create a double bed. The golden beige Luget limestone in the bathrooms was quarried in France and personally chosen by the owner. A service door at the end of the guest accommodation corridor leads into the crew quarters, comprising three cabins (one with shared bathroom) and captain’s cabin for a total of 7 crew, pro-spec galley, crew dinette and laundry. The crew area is compact but well-appointed and comfortable.
