Motor yacht KATHLEEN ANNE is a 39m (127' 11") 2009 Feadship SL 39 superyacht with a steel displacement hull which is currently available for Mediterranean yacht charters. The KATHLEEN ANNE superyacht was built at the Koninklijke De Vries Scheepsbouw in Aalsmeer, the Netherlands. Her naval architecture is by De Voogt, her exterior lines were designed by Guido de Groot and her interior was designed by Bannenberg & Rowell. Charter yacht KATHLEEN ANNE is able to accommodate up to 10 charter guests overnight in two double cabins (one being a large owner suite on the main deck) and two further twin and one convertible staterooms.

The superyacht’s interior design can be described as ‘crisp yet homely’. Her main lounge, which is often utilised as the main social area, enjoys a comfortable and relaxed ambiance. The furniture has specifically tailored to individual spaces and to fit it purpose. With the Feadship superyacht KATHLEEN ANNE two distinctive seating areas have been laid out in a way that the darker tones of the walnut woodwork is offset by contrasting pale oak and high gloss rosewood.

To forward of the lounge on the luxury yacht KATHLEEN ANNE is an open adjoined space is the delightful dining area. Rosewood buffet cabinets with white Calcutta marble tops house china and glass while serving as a visual partition with the lounge. The bespoke oak, rosewood and nickel dining table rests on a rug with a free-form pattern inspired by the Owner's herd of Shorthorn cattle. Ian Davenport's colourful art pieces add to the atmosphere.

The full beam bridge deck lounge on the KATHLEEN ANNE yacht offers flexibility and when the aft doors are completely open the lounge can effectively be joined with the large aft deck space. This creates a "beach lounge" type area. Alternatively, guest can use the space to relax an watch movies or play games. Here the interesting teak floor has a unique pattern of wide planks along with walnut and pale oak inset in thin strips.

Superyacht Kathleen Anne can accommodate a maximum of 10 charter guests overnight and 12 whilst cruising during the day. One fantastic aspect of this Feadship yacht is hera large owner's suite as situated up upon the yacht’s main deck. In addition, there are four guest suites on the lower deck – one double, two twins and one which converts to either. All the guest staterooms are panelled with broad planks of white oak as harmonised with a simple cream coloured fabric upholstery and deeply fluted plinths and chunky macassar ebony wood footboards beds.

“The SL39 is a semi-custom superyacht developed by Feadship to allow owners to have some flexibility in choosing exterior and interior styling. The second SL39 is called "Kathleen Anne".

The first luxury yacht of the semi-custom series was the "Ocean Mercury" and indeed there are little differences between them. However, subtle exterior design styling changes on the Kathleen Anne allows us to identify her.

Both are white but Kathleen Anne has gently sloping (towards the bow) master stateroom windows whereas Ocean Mercury features triangle type windows in the same area. Ocean Mercury has a backward sloping radar arch while Kathleen Anne has triangular arch sides.

Guido de Groot were responsible for the exterior design of Kathleen Anne. With her gleaming chrome nameplate amidships on the Main-Deck and pearl-white exterior paint, this latest 39-meter displays more customization.

The interior of Kathleen Anne was done by Bannenberg designs. According to Bannenberg, the interior is crisp & masculine in nature. The superyacht has been built for an experienced owner who has previously owned a Feadship.

Dark woods fill the interior of Kathleen Anne as well cream colored textures and materials. The interior is dominated by hard edges such as squared sofas, chairs, pictures and lamp-shades that emphasize the masculine Bannenberg description.

Ocean Mercury was the first SL39 semi-custom yacht delivered by Feadship. Yesterday marked the launching of the second 39-meter yacht, Kathleen Anne. Once Kathleen Anne was in the water and outside the shed, a hail of balloons -as usual- were released into the air. A third is under construction and will be delivered in Fall 2009.”
