OMBRE BLU [Italian for Blue Shadows] is Lagoon 500 that was designed by naval architects Marc Van Peteghem and Vincent Lauriot Prevost using the latest advances in modern design. Her speed and seaworthiness are outstanding. The Lagoon 500 design uses light oak Alpi woodwork and laminated wenge floors to give a modern and relaxing feel. Wide sweeping windows provide a spacious and light area in the salon with beautiful panoramic views.

The Lagoon 500 OMBRE BLU is equipped for all weather conditions with spacious dining inside and out and full air-conditioning. This luxurious sailing yacht has a very social forward cockpit with alfresco seating for dining and full views forward. One of the highlights of the Lagoon 500 is the helm station on the flybridge. This is a superb additional space with access from each side and a long six-seater bench.

Martha, Our stay on Ombre Blu was fantastic. Mellissa and Francesco were super hosts and expert seamen all rolled into one. The facilities on the boat were wonderful… 2 of our party went diving. I swam more than I have in the last 20 years….. and feel better for it. Melissa arranged a mixture of marina berths and lying at anchor so that we sometimes would eat aboard and sometimes in the port. Ombre Blu was our first attempt at a cruising holiday…. It was just perfect….. Including the weather. We will certainly be doing it again. Both Mellissa and Francesco advised us of their preferred cruising area…. We need to start planning now.
