Luxury sailing yacht GEORGIA was conceived as the ultimate family world cruiser and is now the ultimate large charter yacht as built by Alloy Yachts. She is large and spacious sailing machine with everything needed for a fantastic Mediterranean or Caribbean yacht charter vacation.

Built by Alloy Yachts GEORGIA is a 48m (159 ft) Scanu, Dalrymple-Smith, Johnson sloop and she was the Showboats 2000 award winner: Most Innovative Sailing Yacht/Best Sailing Yacht Over 38m.

The design priorities included a requirement for four generous guest cabins, a gym and a full width master suite. Her characteristic dark maroon hull is very eye catching along with her modern exterior styling.

In a yacht of this size, being the largest sloop in the world at the time, ease of sailing, with a minimal crew, was an absolute necessity, as well as safety for all on board. GEORGIA has exceeded everyone's most enthusiastic dreams.

Yacht Charter Accommodation

Guest Accommodation GEORGIA has four guest cabins and a gym below, plus a full width master suite. As a result, she comfortably sleeps ten in the owner's area. GEORGIA's flybridge has direct access from the bridge and features port and starboard helm stations, seating aft, Spa Pool and sun pads. An aft stairway from the flybridge, to the aft deck, leads to the air conditioned alfresco, yet protected seating/dining area. There is a powder room in this area. Forward, via large stainless/glass doors, the formal main salon is to port with large flat screen TV plus bar/seating area to starboard. Forward to starboard, past one of the two accesses to the guest accommodations below, is the main starboard entrance. Just forward is the second on deck powder room. To port are stairs up to the bridge with access to the flybridge. Forward, from the main entrance, is the formal dining room which is on the same level. Forward of the dining salon is the second access to the guest accommodations or via an automatic door to the galley to port and crew dinette to starboard.

Charter Amenities and Extras

Toys: 2xZuma sailing dinghys, windsurfers, dive gear for 6 people and numerous water toys; donuts, trampoline etc. Audio Visual Equipment and Deck Facilities GEORGIA is provided with one of the most advanced entertainment systems fitted to any yacht. Created by the Fort Lauderdale-based Intelect Integrated Electronics, the computer controlled system handles the output of nine satellite TV tuners, two 20" LED screens, a 1000 CD and 300 hour digital movie library held on computer hard drive, navigational displays and pictures from underway, security and masthead cameras. The selected images are displayed on the yacht's seven 40-inch Mitsubishi plasma screens, while a total of 52 B&W speakers, including 16 deck speakers and two complete Dolby Digital Surround Sound systems, reproduce the highest quality sound. The system is controlled by Crestron 7"/18 cm wireless touch screens, positioned in every compartment, which are able to access any item of the system through easily mastered displays, as well as controlling other on board functions such as the lighting, curtains and blinds. Users are truly amazed by the system's functionality and ease of use.The computer system is extensive with server and wireless access points. PCs in the engine room, crew mess and bridge. Printer, fax and scanner all located on the bridge. GEORGIA has the following Communications Telephone System: 1 x Toshiba digital phone system with fixed handsets throughout and 2 x 900 MHz cordless phones. 2 x Telular GSM cell phones integrated to system. 2 x Motorola US cell phones integrated to system. There is provision on board for incoming calls from any and all of the following sources - shore land lines, satellite calls/faxes, and cellular.
