Sauvage World Tour | From US$ 15,400 /wk
Sauvage is a 60ft sailing yacht designed by the French designer, Jean Francois Andre, and was built in Brazil in 1995. SAUVAGE is a safe, steel, offshore sailing yacht that is able to accommodate up to 6 charter guests.
SAUVAGE can sail in High Latitudes (Antarctica and Alaska recently) as well as in the Tropics. She combines comfort and solidity with adventure cruises in remote, out of the beaten path places. She’s a sturdy sailing yacht that sails safely everywhere in the world for offshore crossings, adventure cruises in the islands or as a support vessel for expeditions for mountaineers or scientists. She is also ideal for surf, kite surf or dive trips. She’s well maintained by its owner-crew of 2 and is available year round for active adventure cruises.
Sailing yacht Sauvage has a unique centreboard design allowing easy access to sheltered shallow anchorages. In cold climates the diesel heater keeps it warm and inviting and when in the tropics there are ample hatches to allow the sea breezes to flow through. Sauvage’s saloon is very open and spacious and allows for plenty of natural lighting. It is separated down the middle by the centreboard case and has a big teak dining table for 9 on the port side and another teak table for 4 on the starboard side.
The Galley is immediately to starboard as you come down the companion way and is fully equipped to be able to prepare excellent meals.
Sauvage has a beamy cockpit which is ideal for a tropical lifestyle, both wide and well protected from the spray and wind by the pilot house. It has sun protection with a bimini top and there is a big folding table for 9 people for dining el fresco. The stern platform creates a step to board from the dinghy or for landing the fish you catch while sailing on a passage.
SAUVAGE is ideal for friends and family or for expedition groups with 3 comfortable cabins each equipped with private head and shower. In the gracious comfort of a 60 ft. custom built sloop, you will experience exotic locations as few ever do.
