While most crewed yachts of this size are divided into three or more cabins, Sandcastle's focus is on comfort and space. Two unusually large, well appointed staterooms offer king size berths, en suite bathrooms with large separate showers, and lots of privacy. Sandcastle is the perfect yacht for two couples or a family charter. There are extra pullman berths suitable for children if your family requires and extra bunk.

Sandcastle’s generous deck offers plenty of room to relax in the hammock, deck chairs, on sunning mats, or in the shady cockpit. The cockpit is the perfect place to enjoy alfresco dining and the fabulous gourmet meals that will be whipped up by your personal chef during the charter. A roomy swim platform and ladder make a dip or snorkel more inviting with easy access to the warm turquoise waters.

Rik Allen, a USCG Licensed Captain, has been sailing for 30 years, logging many miles between the Caribbean, New England and the South Pacific. Rik has more than 20 years chartering experience. Ann Allen, a native of Ontario, Canada, holds a degree in Zoology but has traded the laboratory for the living ocean. She maintains a keen interest in marine life. An avid snorkeler and an experienced charter chef, Ann takes pleasure in providing her guests with personalized comforts. Her menus reflect a wide range of dishes, both local and international, and she enjoys catering to your tastes. Rik and Ann are both water-sports enthusiast, happy to give instruction in snorkeling, windsurfing, water-skiing or knee-boarding. They are trained in CPR and are certified divers. In 2012 sailing yacht SANDCASTLE received some wonderful upgrades including a new hull paint job, new name on the stern and all new saloon cushions.

Yacht Charter Accommodation

Sandcastle has an unusual layout for this size and style of vessel. Rather than cramming as many guest cabins in as possible Sandcastles staterooms are split into two king size cabins offering guests plenty of space and privacy. As well as the two ample guest cabins, Sandcastle has a spacious salon area with interior dining as well has a large spacious deck with plenty of space to spread out and relax in the sunshine or cool off in the shade of the cockpit.
