A General Description of Sailing Yacht SAUDADE

This sailing yacht SAUDADE is a superyacht of capacious proportions. This 45 m (148 ft) luxury yacht was manufactured by Wally in 2008. SAUDADE is ex the project or yacht name (Project Saudade). Superyacht SAUDADE is a well designed yacht that is able to accommodate a total of 8 guests on board and has around 6 professional crew. The firm of naval architecture responsible for her design work on this ship was Tripp Design Naval Architecture and Wally-Eidsgaard Design. Eidsgaard Design in addition was the designer which over saw the overall interior design.

Saudade made her first public appearance at the 2008 Monaco Yacht Show. This Wally streamlined sailing sloop was the largest Wally yacht built at that time. Although a high performance boat and developed from the hull lines of the breakthrough yacht Essence, she is still able to achieve traditional blue water cruising. A medium to light displacement yacht at 150 tons as combined with a lifting keel - from 4.20 to 6.20 meters – she is a fast sailing yacht with surprisingly large volumes and full equipments for extensive round the world cruising.

Building & Designing of Luxury Yacht SAUDADE

The yacht's general design work came from Tripp Design Naval Architecture and Wally-Eidsgaard Design. The professional naval architecture drawings are a creation of Tripp Design Naval Architecture. Sailing Yacht SAUDADE received her elegant interior designing from the interior design firm of Eidsgaard Design. Italy is the country that Wally completed their new build sailing yacht in. After official launch in 2008 in Fano she was afterwards passed over to the yacht owner following final finishing. Her main hull was built out of composite. The sailing yacht superstructure is fabricated for the most part from composite. With a beam of 8.57 metres / 28.12 ft SAUDADE has spacious internal space. She has a fairly 6.2 (20.34 ft) draught of 6.2m (20.34ft). She had refit improvement and changes undertaken by 2008.
