A General Description of Motor Yacht SERAFIMA

From the Mondomarine yard in Italy the SERAFIMA is 40 m 131 (ft) in length. Finished and launched by 2005 this boat’s interior decoration exhibits the merit of owner and Cor D Rover Design. Superyacht SERAFIMA is able to accommodate up to 10 passengers with 7 professional crew. The former names or project names were Fabri's. She is able to reach a maximum speed of 19 knots.

The external lines of the yacht, and specifically the oval shape of the large windows, were inspired to Cor D. Rover by the first aerodynamics studies concerning yachts – carried out in the thirties of last century – which originated the fast, and at the same time elegant, “speedsters”.

The Building & Naval Architecture for Luxury Yacht SERAFIMA

Mondomarine & Sydac was the naval architect involved in the formal vessel composition for SERAFIMA. Also the company Mondomarine & Sydac expertly worked on this undertaking. Interior designer Cor D Rover Design was responsible for the creative interior styling. Italy is the country that Mondomarine completed their new build motor yacht in. After her official launch in 2005 in Savona the boat was then delivered on to the yacht owner following sea trials and testing. A spacious proportion is achieved with a widest beam (width) of 8.4 m / 27 feet. With a 2.4m (7ft) draught (maximum depth) she is shallow. The material aluminium was used in the building of the hull of the motor yacht. Her superstructure over the hull is built out of aluminium. In 2007 extra refit work and modernisation was in addition performed.
