A General Description of Motor Yacht SOJOURN
This motor yacht SOJOURN is a 40 m 130 (foot) well sized composite luxury yacht which was crafted by Gambol Industries and concieved by Jack Sarin and Tim Borland. This gracious superyacht was envisaged with a naval architect called Jack Sarin and Tim Borland. Renee Brown produced her interior design brief.
The Shipyard Work & Naval Architecture of Luxury Yacht SOJOURN
Jack Sarin was the naval architecture company involved in the technical nautical design work for SOJOURN. Her interior design was conceived by Renee Brown. Jack Sarin and Tim Borland is also associated with the yacht general design work for this boat. In 1999 she was formally launched with celebration in Long Beach Ca and following sea trials and detailing was then handed over to the owner who commissioned her. Gambol Industries completed their new build motor yacht in the United States. The core hull was built out of composite. The motor yacht superstructure component is made extensively using composite. With a beam of 7.83 m / 25.7 ft SOJOURN has moderate size. A fairly shallow draught of 1.98m (6.5ft) determines the number of worldwide marinas she can visit, taking into account their minimum characteristics. She had refit improvement and changes carried out by 2007.

Installed with triple CATERPILLAR diesel engines, SOJOURN will reach a top speed of 22 knots. She is driven by 3sc. She also has an economical range of 3500 miles when motoring at her cruise speed of 18 knots. Her total HP is 4050 HP and her total Kilowatts are 2980. As for bow thruster maneuverability she uses Wesmar. As for the yacht’s stabalisers she was built with Koopnautic.
