the Netherlands is the country that J Vos Shipyard completed their new build sailing yacht in. After her official launch in 1928 in Groningen the boat was afterwards released to the owner following sea trials. A moderate feeling is brought about with a widest beam (width) of 6.25 metres / 20.5 feet. With a 2.1m (6.9ft) draught (maximum depth) she is reasonably shallow. The material steel was used in the building of the hull of the sailing yacht. Her superstructure over the hull is created from steelandwood. Over the deck of STORE BAELT she is 34.5 (113.2 ft) in length. In 1994 further refitting and modernisation was additionally performed.
