The yacht's general design work came from Hijlkema & Zonen. The professional naval architect firm plans are a creation of Hijlkema & Zonen. In 1961 she was actually launched with celebration in Martenshoek and following sea trials and finishing touches was afterwards delivered to the owner. Hijlkema & Zonen completed their new build sailing yacht in the Netherlands. A reasonable area is achieved with a widest beam (width) of 6.49 m / 21.3 feet. With a 2.71m (8.9ft) draught (maximum depth) she is shallow. The material steel was used in the building of the hull of the sailing yacht.
