Motor yacht SUMO from Horizon Yachts is an FD90 model using the semi-open bridge layout. She was delivered in 2022 as the 23rd hull from the highly successful FD90 model and measures 27.5m/90ft. Horizon Yachts was responsible for the naval architecture, while Cor D. Rover created her interior and exterior styling. The accommodation sleeps a total of 10 guests over 5 en-suite cabins, with a professional crew of 4 to see to all the details.

EXTERIOR

Guests arriving by tender will disembark onto the main deck aft, which is spacious enough to add furniture for lounging or sunbathing beside the water. Two stairways lead up to the main deck aft, where plush sofa seating surrounds a coffee table on all sides, creating a cosy setting for all guests to relax and chat outdoors while refreshments are served from the starboard bar.

A port stairway goes up to the bridge deck aft, while the starboard stairway along the main deck leads to a stairway up to the foredeck. The foredeck is furnished with sofa seating in front of the helm controls and a broad sunbed farther down the bow.

The bridge deck aft has a raised Jacuzzi aft and centre, the mother-of-pearl wet bar with widescreen TV to starboard and a corner sofa and drinks table to port.

INTERIOR

The beautiful interiors contrast rich and deep satin walnut with white-grey Cambria stone, creating a simple and elegant setting for family gatherings and special occasions.

The lower deck layout places the guest VIP staterooms forward and amidships, with the engine room behind and the crew accommodation in the stern.

On the main deck, the Master suite is forward and the galley amidships to port and the foyer with day head to starboard.

The formal dining area and main salon are combined into one large space aft, where guests can enjoy an abundance of natural light and sweeping views through the full-height windows.

The formal dining area is placed forward to port and seats all 10 guests in understated yet elegant surroundings, and glass sliding doors on both sides create a more alfresco environment. The lounge offers an abundance of plush seating and a coffee table to enjoy drinks over conversation or a film on the widescreen TV. Glass sliding doors lead out onto the main deck aft, and when open they provide the interior with a burst of fresh sea air to better connect to the local environment.

The foyer stairway leads up to the semi-enclosed bridge deck, where a corner sofa and drinks table is placed to port behind the helm controls. 

A pair of Caterpillar engines grant a top speed of 17 knots and a cruising speed of 10 knots.

Yacht Accommodation

The accommodation sleeps a maximum of 10 guests across 5 en-suite cabins: 1 Master suite and 4 VIP staterooms. ~ The Master suite is situated on the main deck forward and is furnished with a king-sized bed, widescreen TV, sofa, desk/vanity, ample wardrobe space and an en-suite bathroom with two sinks, a toilet and shower. ~ All 4 of the VIP staterooms are placed amidships on the lower deck. All have a large bed, widescreen TV, desk/vanity, wardrobe and an en-suite bathroom with a sink, toilet and shower. ~ The professional crew of 4 will provide fast and discreet service throughout the cruise.
