The famous Dutch sailing yacht builder, Jongert Shipyards, has launched superyacht Lucia-M, a 39 metre motor yacht (type 3900MY) in 2010, being their first major motor yacht.

The Jongert motor yacht line – Lucia M being the first – was developed by the Jongert at the specific request of several of their yachting customers.

Lucia-M super yacht is a fast semi-displacement aluminium yacht. She can be seen as a typical Jongert Yacht, with all the specific Jongert attributes. The superyacht combines the well known Jongert quality with excellent qualities and technical innovations like the glass-bridge and the monitoring system.

Just like all their other yachts in the sailing yacht line, the emphasis is on the privacy, luxury, comfort and space of the superyacht Lucia M.

Lucia M reaches the maximum speed of 28 knots and can comfortably cruise at the speed of 24 knots with a power of two Diesel MTU 16V 4000 M90 engines.

The glass-bridge integrates under 'one sheet of glass' all controls, data processors and all other instruments required to manage or control a boat. In the glass bridge the various parts are built-in invisibly under a sheet of glass acting as a flat touch screen.

Lucia-M can accommodate eight guests in one Owner's cabin, one Double cabin and two twin cabins.

The double master cabin is situated in way, that the beam of Lucia M superyacht is fully used. Over the bath a huge skylight has been fitted, which can be electrically darkened.

There is a direct access from the owner's stateroom to the gym and the steam bath in the forepeak.

The semi covered flybridge offers a bar, a lounge and a sun deck. The dodger roof above the flybridge is equipped with glass to keep the space a bright as possible, but also with blinds to protect against the sun. At the rear of the dodger roof is a sliding part that can be placed over the sun deck.
