From South African shipyard Southern Wind comes the sailing yacht SW105 Hull #4, a high-performance cruiser with delivery scheduled for 2021. The exterior styling is the work of Farr Yacht Design in conjunction with Nauta Design and features a carbon-composite hull and a lifting keel that reduces the draft from 5.9m/19.3ft to 3.8m/12.4ft. The accommodation is designed for up to 8 guests over a Master suite, VIP stateroom and a twin cabin, plus the studio which is convertible to an additional double cabin with an en-suite bathroom. A crew of five will ensure that all guests are well taken care of throughout their time on board.

EXTERIOR

The above deck area features a wider cockpit amidships than in previous versions of the SW105 hull, and it comes furnished with two large tables and sofas on both sides. The aft helm controls are placed closer to the gunwales for better line-of-sight, and the teak coach roof and forward deck can be covered in sunpads for unwinding in the sunshine with panoramic views of the surroundings.

INTERIOR

The lower deck places the Master suite forward followed by the convertible studio and day head, plus the salon. The salon has a C-shaped sitting area to starboard with coffee tables for casual relaxation, adjacent of which is the formal dining area where a raised table and movable chairs accompany a sofa lining the wall A TV and bar area can also be included forward in this layout. An aft stairway leads up to the cockpit while the aft lower deck area contains the VIP stateroom and the twin cabin, followed by the crew accommodation, galley and the tender garage in the stern.

Yacht Accommodation

The accommodation sleeps up to 8 guests across 3 en-suite cabins and the convertible salon with en-suite facilities. The Master suite is situated forward on the lower deck, behind which is the convertible studio while the VIP stateroom and twin cabin are placed aft of the salon. The crew of five will provide the first-class service throughout every journey.
