Sailing yacht SAFARA is an Andrews 72, designed by Alan Andrews and built by Canadian yacht builders Scorpio yachts in 1999. Boasting graceful lines evocative of the famous Nautor Swan, she measures 21,7m (71.5ft) and can accommodate up to 6 charter guests in 3 en-suite cabins. S/Y SAFARA underwent an extensive refit in 2011 and is available for charter throughout the Mediterranean and Caribbean seasonally.

Below decks the SAFARA sailing yacht offers contemporary minimalistic décor, featuring crisp white furnishings and panels balanced harmoniously with teak and holy floors and wood detailing. The salon and dining are an open plan with a formal dining area on the starboard side and full entertainment system, including a 50’’ TV with surround sound. On the port is a further settee. The galley is aft of the salon on port side, yet still unobtrusive of guest space.

The master stateroom is forward of the salon and full beam of the yacht, the light and airy space features a double bed, sofa and en-suite with vanity and tub/shower. Aft of the salon 2 double cabins offer double beds, one with an additional small settee/berth, ideal for a small child. S/Y SAFARA boasts entertainment and full air conditioning in all her cabins. The crew of 2 has separate quarters and facilities.

Hi Josh, Happy New Year! Boat and crew where extremely good. As you may know, there was a last minute change in the crew. The new Chef on Safara is now Daniela Mack from Austria. Although the two only met days before we arrived on the boat, they worked very well together and made every possible extra step they could. In all possible aspects they exceeded our expectations. Sailing, water sports, cooking,... The two are very interesting and open minded people. I hope they continue to work together, as they are planning to. Thanks as well for your support!
