Nigel Irens was the naval architect firm involved in the professional superyacht composition for TEAM LEGATO. Also the company Nigel Irens and David Alan-Williams successfully worked on this project. Canada is the country that Canadair constructed their new build sailing yacht in. After official launch in 1982 in Montreal Pq the boat was then delivered on to the owner after sea trials. A beamy proportion is manifested with a total beam (width) of 12.8 m or 42 ft. The material composite was used in the building of the hull of the sailing yacht. Her superstructure above deck is fashioned out of composite. In 1999 extra refit work and updating was also finished.
