S/Y Tiger Blue is a luxurious traditional timber yacht measuring 112ft/34m with a width (beam) of 25ft/7,6m. She was built in the style of a traditional wooden Phinisi without sacrificing any modern comforts. She was launched in 2008, made with an ironwood hull and teak decks.

Tiger Blue was built by Haji Abdullah and his team on a beach at Bira, South Sulawesi specifically designed to be family orientated and child-friendly. The owner of the yacht was a big part of the design and building project and required the boat to be very comfortable, practical and well equipped for adventure.

She can accommodate up to 10 guests in 4 cabins below deck including 2 doubles, 1 cabin with 2 single bunks and a family cabin with 1 double and 2 single beds. On the main deck, there is the entertainment salon to the stern, and plenty of day beds to relax on the bow. The navigation room and galley are also located on the main deck. Above the Main deck is a large sun deck with day beds and sun loungers, the perfect spot for sun lovers to enjoy 360 panoramic views or to enjoy sunset cocktails.

This traditional wooden sailing yacht has a fantastic, capable and experienced crew of 8 Indonesians who are very friendly and welcoming. Guiding them is Wouter van den Houten, a Dutch expedition leader. Food is an important part of anyone's holiday, and it is certainly a big part of the Tiger Blue experience. The chef onboard yacht Tiger Blue can prepare European or Asian cuisine depending on your preference.

Under power, Tiger Blue cruises at an average speed of 8/10 knots on calm seas, showing she is one of the fastest boats in the traditional fleet.
