Amels was the naval architect firm involved in the professional nautical composition for TIGRE D'OR. Her interior design was realised by Terence Disdale Design. Amels and Terence Disdale Design is also associated with the yacht wider design collaboration for this boat. In 2000 she was formally launched with celebration in Makkum and post sea trials and finishing touches was then delivered to the owner. Amels Yachts (Of The Damen Shipyard Group) completed their new build motor yacht in the Netherlands. Her core hull was crafted from steel. The motor yacht superstructure is made extensively from aluminium. With a beam of 9 metres / 29.5 feet TIGRE D'OR has fairly large size. A reasonably deep draught of 3.1m (10.2ft) limits the amount of marinas she can enter, taking into account their specific characteristics.
