A General Description of Motor Yacht TURAMA

This motor yacht TURAMA is a 116 m 382 (ft) huge steel boat which was developed by Aker Finnyards and designed by Sete Yachts. Sleeping 70 passengers and 90 qualified crew, motor yacht TURAMA was previously known as Columbus Caravelle which was her build project name or yacht title.

In the 2008 list of the World's largest megayachts, Turama was at Nunmber 7 for tonnage and Number 12 for length. She was also named the largest motor yacht in the World that is available for private charter. Motor yacht TURAMA has a massive array of entertainment facilities and boasts a piano in salon, a 12 Seat home cinema and a 12 Seat meeting or card room, an 80 Seat conference theatre, a swimming pool and 2 spa pools, a Gymnasium and Sauna, a Beauty Salon with Hi-Fi in all public areas, an Internet Lounge and business centre, a well stocked library, a children’s playroom with television and video game systems. The yacht also features an on Board Hospital and a fully certified Helipad.

Building & Naval Architecture for Luxury Yacht TURAMA

Sete Yachts was the naval architect firm involved in the technical superyacht plans for TURAMA. Sete Yachts is also associated with the yacht general design work for this boat. In 1990 she was formally launched with celebration in Rauma and following sea trials and final completion was then passed on to the owner. Aker Finnyards completed their new build motor yacht in Finland. The main hull was built out of steel. A reasonably deep draught of 4.2m (13ft) selects the list of worldwide marinas she can enter into, taking into account their individual depth. She had refit maintenance and alteration work undertaken by 2004.
